Description

The Cobb County fire department battles a blaze in a free standing garage next to a house on Corner Rd. in Powder Springs, Ga. on Monday night. The blaze began around 9:15 PM, filling the surrounding neighborhoods with smoke. At times the flames threated the adjacent house, but the skilled response of the fire department was able to beat back the inferno and save the home. The home owners did not appear to be home at the time of the fire.
